“Words cannot being to describe how grateful I am to you for continuing these tours and opening my eyes to this spiritual path and the lovely Tibetan people & culture. This trip has blown me away in every way and I truly was the happiest I have ever been in my life!
Every time I thought I had just had the most unique experience of my life, another new experience was already topping the previous one! Your unencumbered love and compassion Lisa shone through in the thoughtfulness and thoroughness you put into every small detail!
I was a little wary coming into such a different and foreign country, but it didn’t take long for me to have complete faith that all of my concerns and worries were baseless because we had such great leaders in you, Lama, Tenzin and Lobsang. This was a life changing life altering experience that I feel everyone needs to experience in their lifetime.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for everything!!!!!!”

I would not have attempted my first visit to India solo.
Travelling with Lisa and this group felt safe and made the entire experience much richer.”

The drive to the Himalayas was an exciting experience giving us an amazing opportunity to see more of India. It was a real eye opening trip. And then the peace and solitude of the retreat complete with stunning views.
As I talk a lot usually, I had thought not speaking would be very difficult for me but in fact it wasn’t.
The meditations and knowledge we were given had such a profound effect on me and changed my way of thinking to such an extent that I am a much happier and more peaceful person than I have ever been. This is still the case even though I have now been back for 6 months.
And to be smiled at by the Dalai Lama is, in itself, just incredible. I am so grateful to Lisa and the wonderful monks for having enabled this tremendous experience for me. For anyone wondering whether it’s for them I would strongly urge them to stop wondering and just GO. You won’t regret it.”

Being a woman traveling on my own Lisa was involved with every step of the process from holding my hand (via email) while making the decision and welcoming me with big hugs upon my arrival.
Lisa manages to navigate around ‘Indian Time’ to make sure everything happens according to plan, or as close as India allows! Besides the organised day trips to explore the surrounding areas and culture, Lisa recommended extra trips and interests but also allowed for plenty of ‘me’ time.
Lisa’s assistants who included a Tibetan Monk and ex Monk also went out of their way to provide us with the best experience of New Delhi and Dharamasala. I highly recommend Spiritual Quest Adventures, especially if you want something ‘out of the box’.
Not only was it spiritually and personally enriching but it was fun and exciting, with breathtaking views and rich culture all enjoyed with a bunch of people I now call friends!”

“I am very glad to have had the opportunity to join in this journey. New and different always is unsettling; however, with greater risks there are greater rewards. The first night upon arriving there are doubts & fears.
That said, even from the start at the airport pick up gate, an English speaking person was provided, as I only speak English; which was very helpful. During the trip Lisa was personally on hand which gave me confidence & comfort.
She provided the necessary information to stay safe and healthy and guided us all through the maneuvers to new locations; which gave me freedom without worries. The trip was the most profound trip I have ever taken and I would not trade it for any other trip.
I am so grateful to have the experience as well as for such great causes; spiritual development, & education regarding the plight of the Tibetan people. I have grown and am a different person for having made the trip and for jumping in with both feet ready.
Still yet, almost a year later, the trip is on my mind every day. I have a new perspective on life that I believe I will carry all through my life.
The land is very different from my home. However, by the end of the trip and even after having left, I have the sense that I could easy have remained there and would even consider living there. The land and people have my heart.”

“When I first arrived I was not sure what was on my mind, I guess I thought the airport was similar to any other I had seen around the world. It was not until I was driving through the streets watching the city as it slept in the wake of the early morning dawn I felt it was a different world.
As my taxi arrived at our destination, I was shocked to see my driver paying a bicycle taxi man to take my bag to the hotel. I was like, umm… where is he taking my stuff??
But before reacting I took a deep breath, remembering my mantra for the trip “Follow your feet, you where brought here for a higher purpose. No harm will come of it.”
And I followed my driver onwards & all was well. The Tibetan quarter of Delhi is a great little place to explore. There are many restaurants, which Lisa will point out to you! She even showed us where to get a wonderful pedicure for super cheap, which was welcomed after a long journey.
The journey to Dharmsala is long but totally worth it! You will really enjoy it! That town is amazing! The streets are narrow, and buzzing with people which we are told is only when the Dalai Lama is in town! Lisa plans out the days wonderfully allowing for plenty of free time to explore. Have no fear on this spiritual journey for if you let yourself be open India will embrace you!”

“Do not wait! Take the next flight to Dharamsala. We all get so caught up in our careers, families, responsibilities that we forget about ourselves.
This tour will allow you some “me” time to find the real “you” and the answers to your questions.
I cannot stress enough the benefits that you will discover at the end of your trip! To this day I still cannot explain how much this retreat has changed my life.”
